Transparent Solar Collector Could Replace Windows
Research at Michigan State University has found a way to make a completely transparent solar collector. These have been experimented with before but have had very bad results until now. This version has had great success and worked very well. It's so clear that it could potentially replace regular glass windows. The inventors call them transparent luminescent solar concentators. They could turn not only windows into solar generators but screens of devices, vehicle windows, and just about all transparent surfaces. This could completely change the way we produce power.
