Imagine being able to control a projected screen with your whole body, that you can walk through. Now, thanks to the Leia Display System, you can. The Leia Display System lets you project a picture, video, or animation using only mist. The LDS creates a frame, and blows the mist from the bottom, up. Then, a projector beams the image or video onto the mist, and an integrated
gesture control system allows you to control the image displayed. The details on the mist are only 2D, and not 3D, so the LDS cannot be considered a hologram, but the amazing accuracy looks impressive, and allows the user to draw or write, in midair. The LDS uses up to 4 liters per hour, so the cost of water can add up quite quickly. Other than the price, the Leia Display System can be used for a number of things.
